Default PVC system

Is there any downside to allowing the PVC system to completly vent into the atmophere? I want all the other valve cover to vent freely instead of the gas going into the other valve cover. BUt I don't want to mess anything up with the engine.

You will end up with oil mist spraying your engine and slowly accumulating all over the place. You will have a mess.

For a street driven car, the operative word is PVC (Positive). You will end up with dirtier oil, more combustion byproducts in the oil and I personally wouldn't do it.

Not trying to be annoying, but it's PCV (Positve Crankcase Ventilation).
