Blown 540 Big Block almost completed...
Hey folks, it's been awhile since I've updated you with my ride and life.
Our baby is due January 4th and we are excited.
Since the last time I posted and updated my ride, it was a blown 454.
Well, now I've upgraded to a blown 540 big block.
I'll post dyno sheets soon.
For the folks don't think I should not post this thread here, this post is for the old timers :)
Waiting for my C6.
Here's the 540 big block:

Holy toledo! For those of you that haven't followed this, the meager blown 454 he did have caused him to roast the tires (in a sweet Chevelle) simply trying to back his car into his garage! :eek: I guess with the 540 you'll just have to build a new garage on the street!! :jester

I saw his weenie in the ultrasound, as big as his dads :D

That's pretty cool you remembered about me having a hard time backing up in my driveway :)
I don't think I will be able to backup at all with this motor.

It's the same blower. I sold the old 454 block.
This is a 502 Merlin II block. It is stroked to 540 ci.

Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats what the 50th anniversary C5 or the C6 should have in it! I had a naturally aspirated 540 in my 69 camaro drag car. Had it in the high eights. No substitution for cubic inches. Enjoy that mean beast!!!!!!! :chevy
