Sounds like I should start with straight 75w/140, then add the LSA if needed.
Phil,
Sorry for the continued questions but I'm not all that familiar with Redline's product lines and I want to make sure I have this correct. Redline has their 75W140NS Gear Oil and the 75W140NS Manual Trans Lubricant. I presume I want the 75W140NS MTL for the diff.
Would you recommend the Redline D4 ATF for the stock trans?

Whatever you do, *DO NOT* use the "NS" variant of Redline 75w/140 differential lubricant in any capacity- as stated in my first post above. That suffix stands for "Non Slip". That lube does not have any LSA added to it from the manufacturer at all like the standard Redline 75w/140 does of 4%.
Also, to answer the other question- we use Redline MTL (Manual Trans. Lube) in all of our manual boxes here. *DO NOT* use gear oil in your manual transmission.....
Also, we've never used any kind of synthetics in our automatic transmission upgrades that are for street use and based on our successes/experiences in using standard Dextron III in the 4L60/65, I would suggest to stick with Dextran III for the auto transmissions.
Hoe that helps.
Best Regards,
Phil

We don't know how your differential was built, so we have no idea what their lubricant requirements are. You can use our lubricant recommendations if you wish, as it won't hurt a thing for any differential- but you should check with your diff. assembler first.
For the stock diff: Redline doesn't make a 75W140 with the slip modifier built in, so you must mean the 75W140 gear oil. There is a 75W140 gear oil with the slip modifier in it.
Also, thanks for the tip on using the regular MTL in the trans.
With the variety of products that Redline makes, it can be a little confusing.

No, you've mis-understood. The standard Redline 75w/140 gear lubricant already comes with 4% LSA blended into it directly from Redline Oils and the Redline 75w/140 N.S. does *NOT* have any LSA blended into it all. You'll want to use the standard Redline 75w/140 gear lubricant that has the 4% blended in it already in your stock differential and then add any additional Redline synthetic LSA to the differential 1oz. at a time later on if needed to quiet down the clutches during turns.

Phil, I apologize. What I meant to say was that Redline doesn't make a 75W140 MTL that has the slip modifier already in it. They do make a 75W140 gear oil with the slip modifier already in it. That's how I knew you recommended the gear oil.
Anyways, in case I have miss-typed again, I completely understand your recommendations. Thank you for your patience.
