This code is: excessive wheel speed variation. It usually comes on about 1 mile from my house on dry roads, when driving straight at 35-40mph. DIC says serice ABS, traction control, and active handling.
This is what I've done: replaced both front wheel bearings, replaced Optima battery w/ new Optima battery and cable nuts(area under battery is a-OK,) cleaned all grounds in engine compartment, including ABS ground wire, replaced the pig-tails between bearing and wiring harness, tap w/wooden mallet, on side of ABS EBCM.
Had a dealership confirm code as RF sensor.
Had Phoenix, last Wednesday, by-pass existing harness and wire-in a new section between front ABS and ECBM.
Drove for about 40 miles and still got code. Next step is to replace EBCM. Am I barking up the wrong tree? Anybody have any other suggestions?
Maybe I am going to replace the ground wire from the ABS unit.

C1226 is the RF. Check the female connector that the harness plugs into on the body. Make sure the pins are not flattened.
I'm having the same problem, and I do have steel briaded lines. (just installed a week ago) did not have this issue before the braided lines, is there some reason to think thats related ?, or was that supposed to help ?

Do a search on steel braided lines and static. Try running a temp ground wire to the caliper and see what happens.
