Flycutting pistons prices ???

About $800-$1200 to replace the heads, plus gaskets and head bolts/studs. To flycut I've heard anywhere between $150-$300. I got a price of $1250 to install heads/rockers/flycut and install a fast 90/90.

Stock pistons do not hold up well to fly-cutting due to the lack of material....a shop with good experiance can do some cutting & you will be OK, but we have seen poor results from some attempts. Prices mentioned above are in line.

$200 seems like a fair price for the flycutting labor (assuming they are doing the head swap too), no more than that.
I did it myself, and it took me the better part of a day, but I was learning as I went, took my time, cut cautiously, and spent a lot of extra time constantly checking depth of cut. But, by the last few pistons, I was knocking them out pretty quickly. I could have all 8 pistons cut in a few hours time now that I've done it and figured out the tricks.
A shop like LG that routinely does this work probably can do it even quicker.
