Default Where did you mount your HID ballasts?

I am buying HID's and I want to know where I can mount the ballasts to where they wont be a problem. I know the light needs to flip, etc. Please help me. I have a 02 Z06

I have mine on the outter frame rails directly under the headlamps. Key thing is to lay it all out and check you clearances and wire lengths for the best location. GL

I mounted mine to the bake cooling ducts.

I mounted min right behind the headlights in my '97. I don't have the car anymore, and couldn't find any pictures. I did still have this movie, and you can see where they were mounted.

I attached mine to the wheel well, right next to where the brake duct penetrates. I wanted them 100% hidden from sight.

I just did a set for a friend last week. Mounted them to the wheel well right below the headlights.
