LS/6 intake

did you see any increase in HP on those of you that have a stock LS/1 engine
97 to 2000, do you think its worth changing it over to the LS/6 intake??? :confused:

5 Peak HP or so at best on a stock LS1. increases more with heads cam etc over 97-2000 intake.

it's funney you know the old stories you talk to the people selling the item and they will say it will give you 10 HP just putting it on >>> :nopity

It´s like 5 hp on stock and about 15 on head/cam car.
Even more n a stroker.

I think I got a big torque jump. When I put on the LS6 intake (along with Long tube headers and new exhaust), I got a 20lb/ft increase in torque (rw) and only about 10hp increase (rw).

I already had Vortex Ram-Air when I did this mod...

I'm planning on heads and cam down the road and expect it to pay off then.
