leaky 2001 c5
Otherwise, it's probably time to replace some weatherstripping.
It takes a pretty serious beating if you're pulling
the top and replacing it all the time, as God intended.
Pull the top and put it down someplace. Examine the
weatherstripping on the top and on the car closely - you'll
probably find that it's cracked or torn in a few places.
These are the pieces that need replacing.
It's not that hard to do this job. Just get the pieces and
a big tube of weatherstrip adhesive. The weatherstrip
will pull off fairly easily when you actually go to remove it.
Oh, and my top leaks at the front corner and the rear corner.
But NOTE: It is very possible to make things much worse
by overtightening or messing up the alignment of the roof, so
make small adjustments.

If the weatherstripping is worn, no amount of adjustment will
fix the problem.
Also note that sometimes when installing the roof, the top's
weatherstripping will cause the rear corner of the window's
weatherstripping to tuck under, creating a leak at the back
corner of the window. Just untucking the weatherstrip each
time you install the roof will fix that.
Lastly, the window tip-in is adjustable. Sometimes, a leak at
the front or back corner can be solved by tipping the window
in a touch more.
