purchased kit through Ecklers (Prothane Motion Control)
Bushings removed from A-Arms
Stock bushings have sleeves, purchsed bushings don't have sleeves. How do I remove sleeves from stock bushings or do I need other bushings to go with new Urethane bushings?? Should I get new sleeves and if so, WHERE??
I was told by tech. that factory sleeves are bonded to original bushings, can I remove them or need new?? HELP!
You probably don't want to hear this but, you should have bought the VB&P bushings. They come with all new needed hardware.
Do a search and you will find many pain in the *** methods to remove the sleeves from the stock bushings. They are not intended to be removed as they are molded together.
You will become very efficient at whittling rubber from metal bushings!!!!
You can also burn the rubber off the sleeves with a propane torch but man,,,,does that make a mess.

That's what I have. Return the ones you have and buy the VB&P kit.
I used a wire wheel on a bench grinder. It makes a hell of a mess. It's a royal pain in the azz, and more than once the wheel grabbed the work piece and chucked it into my nads. After the second time, I started using a pair of vicegrips to hold the bushing.
