3.73 gears or LT headers?

my '02 a4 coupe is mostly stock (borla catback/haltech cai). i'm trying to decide which of the two would be a better choice for my next mod. eventually i will do both, but i'm trying to take it slow. also, who has the best price on AMERICAN RACING headers?

what gears do you have now? would you be doing a TC for the gears?

in order to get alot from LT's you need a intake and a tune

the gears will give you a stronger pull but the LT's actually add power

headers will improve the exhaust sound, but only give usuable power increase in a certain RPM band.

gears will not improve the exhaust, but will give a noticeable sotp thrust increase an any RPM, in any gear.

thought this would be an easy decision... huh ???

while you're doing the gears, there is a low priced convertor that doesn't require an external cooler ... you might consider:
