Cam ??? Cast or Billet
I am looking at all the cams out there for sale and those offered as custom/proprietary grinds and they seem to come from Comp Cams. Are these cams starting life as Billet or cast? What is the stock cam made from? Does it even matter on the LS1?
Just a few questions, as I am thinking of having one ground for me was wondering if this is one of the things I need to be concerned about.

I was thinking that with all the cams coming from Comp, they just about had to be cast. Thanks for the help.
