Default C5 vs C6

On the C6 the rear A-arm is below the mono leaf. Are the rear A- arms on the C5 the same or opposite. I turned the adjusting screws for ride height as far as they would go and it only lowered it about an 1/8" Looks like it belongs at the 4x4 races

According to your profile, you have an 01 and an 06. You could probably go take a look yourself. Second idea would be to post in the C6 forum. I'm just guessin', but someone there has probably lowered their car and could explain the process to you.

My 01 has a different spring, sway bar and shocks. All aftermarket, so my question is, does the (stock) C5 have the leaf above or below the A arm. Thanks Tim Moore

Above. You lengthen the adustment to lower the rear end.

HTH, and have a good one,
Mike

Thanks my 01 has the leaf below the a-arm. I don't know what leaf spring it is ,but that explains why it is easy to lower it a lot

Arghhh, that's what I get for posting after my bedtime.

Yes, the spring is below the control arm; that's why you lengthen the adjuster. It's above the LCA on the fronts, which you lower by shortening the adjuster.

Sorry for the mistake.

Have a good one,
Mike
