Default Underhood light????

I can't get my underhood light to come on.
Checked the bulb, looks ok. What fuse controls this?
Inside / Outside fusebox? Which one?

Check the connection on the passenger side down low on the radiator shroud.

If you have a test light, pull off cover by squeezing the end and see if you have power.

Light could be bad as it has a gravity switch that activates it. Just got done fixing this in my Bro's FRC.

Also could have a dirty contact.

Mine doesn't work either. I just went out and checked and saw the light was unplugged. The previous owner must ahve unplugged it when he installed the intake. Where the hell does it plug in? I only have about 10 inches of slack so it can't be too far.

Thanks

Does your vanity and enterance lights under the rear view mirror work?

If not it's the fuse in the box under the pass, footwell. I think it's #22.

That is exactly where I am looking. Do have to take the damn radiator shroud off to get to this female end?

I guess I'll use a flashlight instead.

It's tough to find, it's all the way down on passenger side. Lift the hood and from the front bumper look down and you'll see it. A flashlight would be helpful.

I was cleaning under the hood one day and just saw mine hanging there. I plugged it in and low and behold my underhood light came on. Always thought the bulb was burnt out, go figure.

Yeah Keith,

Taking out the fan shroud is not a lot of fun. Installing a varram is just as much a oain as the honker. Don't know if it's worth the 5HP.

Well I guess we're all different. After 5 years of ownership and watching the light go on every time I opened a door or deck lid and never using the light under the hood I disconnected it while at a cruise in.
