There are a few out there. The problem is they either don't allow you to lower your top, or the bar is close to your head.
In a track accident your helment would hit the metal tubing. In my opinion, on the street, knocking your head on the rollbar might kill you in an accident you'd otherwise survive.
I came to the conclusion that a convertible isn't the car to make into a street or track racer.
Roll bars in convertibles for any type of competition or on track driving need to be at least 2" above the occupants helmets. Plus thick dense padding with in 6" of where a helmet might hit.
