My Starter disengaged or how do I reset security system
I read this somewhere here on the Forum before about other owners that were having problems starting their car. Well my car acted up earlier this evening. We were doing a little work on the car (changed waterpump) and I took the car for a quick 5 minute test drive. I came back parked the car and pulled the key out. I tried to restart it a little while later and it's like the starter it disengaged. Can any of you let me know what I need to do to reset my security system or what I need to do to get it started? Thanks alot.

20 people have looked at your post and none have answered. I believe that they don't understand your statement "I tried to restart it a little while later and it's like the starter it disengaged."
Can you describe the symptoms a little better? If its what I think you mean "" Starter motor runs but the starter drive gear doesn't engage the fly wheel "" I can help you resolve that. Give us a little more info.
Also what year car.
