Clutch, trans or Diff issue???????
Was doing some test launching tonight for Hot Rods Drag week next week (Leave tomorrow afternoon). My M6 vette is now making a gear drive style noise, but only when under load and in gears 2nd through 6th. Trans is a RPM M6 Stage 5, clutch is a tex OZ700, and diff is stock upgraded unit that I've had for 3 years with dynotech brace and shafts. I've got abouot 400 miles on the combo now and it only started doing it earlier. The car hooks like a ****, but the noise is there from 2k rpms and up only while under load/accelerating. Fluid wrong? Shafts to look for? Clutch to look at?
My problem is I'm suppose to leave tomorrow for the Drag Week and I'm letting the car cool right now.
