99 rewire to 01-04 MAF Sensor

Has anyone taken thier 97-00 MAF harness including the IAT wires and repinned them into the 01-04 maf connector? I need to use the larger MAF for my CAI.

you can buy a direct fit connecter from caspers electronics. plugs into your old iat and maf connecters to integrate them with the 85mm style.

Thanks for the info. Checked the site and found it, $30.00. Was hoping for the cheaper route by rewiring a plug. If all else fails I'll be buying one. Steve

Hello---You'll have to re-calibrate you MAF tables when installing the newer style bigger MAF into cars with the earlier version--I tried this mod on my 98 and the fueling was -20% off--dead rich-finally threw codes--would barely idle and ran horribly---I tried adjusting the MAF table--but it is a huge job getting it perfect and after 2-3 days i just gave up and put the stock one back in--with screen---I learned that the 3.5 " MAF is good for 500 HP so really no reason for me to mess with it--only minimal HP gains if you get the table perfect anyway---i would try another way to connect your CAI---JMO---

Can someone send me the link to where on the caspers site the connector is listed?
I looked under thier Corvette page and didn't see it listed.. I could be blind though..
