I had the GHL exhaust and now I have B/B Bullets. Will one exhaust make you run rich and a differant one make you run lean? I would not get much black soot on my GHL tips but I get alot on the new B/B. Why would that be?

Reason: sp
I think the bullets have smaller mufflers. Though I would'nt think that would cause more black smoke. I would probably say that it shouldn't effect it too much (as for running rich/lean. Headers are a different stories though) If in doubt. Tune it.

bullets don't have any mufflers. Its a straight pipe system with resonators. As far as your A/F ratio, changing your exhaust shouldn't make yur engine run leaner or richer.

Hi, new to corvette and to the forum. I am looking at an exhaust, interested why you switched from GHL to B/B bullets. What do you think about the B/B Prt's

The "soot" cleans up a lot when you add a catch can. Neither one makes you run richer or leaner.

I think it is because of the flow. After all B&B are straight pipes lined with fiberglass.
No chambers for the carbon, got to show some where.
