Maf Sensor Question
I unplugged my maf and checked inside the car if there were any codes....And there were'nt......Is this right if the maf becomes unplugged should there not be a code thrown??????????????

If the engine is running and you disconnect the MAF sensor the engine should stumble for a second and then run fairly smooth but the check engine light should come on.
If you unplugged the MAF sensor with the engine not running then nothing will happen.
If you unplugged the MAF sensor with the engine not running then nothing will happen.

Unplugging the MAF while the engine on will throw some codes to indicate a MAF failure. The stumbling is the PCM switch from the MAF tables to the VE tables. Disconnecting the MAF is the first step in a SD tune
