Default ok.Question about a procharger.

Now,my 01 is fully stock.Im going to put corsa indys on with the bassani xpipe.I want to get alot more hp then what i have now,the problem is,i dont know much about putting a cam in or intake manafold and so on to get the hp i want.It would be nice if i had around 450 hp.If i get the procharger, would i really notice a big differents.Im pretty amazed about my 350 hp now stock.Would be mice if i can feel 100 hp or more.I dont drag or race.Just want to play with it alittle to see what i can do with it.forgot to mention im also putting a vararam intake on soon.I did my research here and everyone seems to be pleased about the vararam. Can someone help me.......Thanks....

I dont have a supercharger but you will feel 100hp, it would make a huge difference. Heck 40 or 50 make a big difference. Do you want to install it your self? It may not be much easier than H/C. Post in the FI/Nitrous (FI = Forced Induction = Turbo/supercharger) they can really tell you everything.

You may be happy with just the Vararam + Long tube header + cat back + tune to start with. They should get you around 50 hp (maybe a little more).

On your stock motor you don't need a cam head work.Headers plus hi- flows etc with a procharger and some meth you can run a safe 6-8 psi and achieve a safe 550rwhp.I would start like that then your future could be forged with cam/heads turn up the boost 750rwhp safe.

NO it is life insurance for a stock motor it cools down your charge and atomizes your fuel and air.

"meth" stands for methanol and is used to reduce the temp and boost octane of fuel mixture to prevent pre-detonation of fuel and air mix.

The stock pistons are not forged and do not take well to detonation.

If you are interested in a supercharger do some research over in the Forced Induction section. There are lots of people making 500+ rwhp with stock motors and some form of forced induction (FI).

One thing you need to be made aware of though is your stock drivetrain will need to be upgraded.
