I have an 2000 coupe and my problem is the old service abs, active handling and traction control. I pulled the code and got C1243H. What or how can I clear this. I really don't want to take it to the dealer. Need help.

Pull up the codes, go into manual mode find the DTC and just press and hold the reset button until it clears!

" To list your codes, turn the ignition key to the ON position, but don't start the engine. Clear any present DIC messages (like Door Ajar, or Service Steering Column) by pressing the RESET button. Then hold the OPTIONS button down, while pressing the FUEL button 4 times. This will get you into the CODES section of the DIC.

Once the computer has finished going through all of it's automatic codes, press RESET to enter Manual Configuration. It should start with a module and show "NO CODES" or "# CODES". If it shows a number of codes, press and hold RESET until it displays "NO CODES". This is how you reset your codes. "

I have seldom ever seen a BPMV really go bad. Most of the time the electrical connection for the motor isn't tight or dirty or the ground wire for the motor is bad.. Remove the ground connection at G-101. The single eyelet ground wire under the the ground tab is the ground wire for the BPMV Motor.

Check the smaller plug on the lower side of the EBTCM

You also need to try to make the motor run. Next time it rains, cram on the brakes and make the motor run! If you use ANTI LOCK or AH, the motor should run.

Thanks. I kept hitting the reset on the pod on the DIC reading. I don't have the service crap now. We'll see how long it stays off.
