I have a leaky trans pan on my C5 automatic and suspect it may need a new pan. What is my best option, stock or aftermarket?
He's right, it probably is just a gasket but if it's coming off anyway, you might want to look into a deep sump pan. Adds a few quarts for lower tranny temps and improved tranny longevity....

This may help, Full line of products for the 4L60E. The leak is probably a gasket problem. If you pull the pan to just change the gasket I would at least change the filter and clean the stock pan. Make sure you torque the bolts when you re-assemble. I believe it is 8ftlbs.
