Default tranny cooler

Hey guys, I wanna install a trans cooler but I cant find a thread showing pics of how to so I have an idea what to move around. Two questions: 1) whats the best BTU rating for an a4 w/ 3.42 and 3200 stall?, 2) Whats better, bypass radiator or go through it? Thnx in advance guys and if someone finds pics of how to do it let me know.

I believe I used a B&M 24000 and I did route it through the Rad as the factory did. My tranny temps never get anywhere near 200. Hell I don't think it hits 190 all too often....

Is that 24,000 gvw(gross vehicle weight) or btu's because the highest I can find is 24,000gvw at 15,000btu and that says its B&M's max protection?

Yes, that is the one...You tranny will stay cool and you should have no issues at all...

If you track it on a road course, that one is not enough. If you just do spirited driving around town it is probably enough. I just got its bigger brother, and hope that will help me at the track. Its the racing cooler line, 29k BTU.
