Default Headers install cost

I was just wondering how much it would cost to get headers installed. How many hours does it take (approx.)? What are the easiest headers to install? And also if there is anybody 100mi in/from the St. Louis area that could install headers at a "pretty" discount please let me know!

Thanks
Vince

header install will cost you approximately 400 dollars with a 6-8 hour install time.

I have seen a number of tuners offer an installed price that is $300 more than the price if you buy the headers from them. Often these specials are during their slow season...

If you can't find anyone a little more local, I would be willing to drive down and help if you have a garage. I have all the tools needed. I would need to do it over a weekend since it is about 5.5hrs each way. I would just ask for some gas money and maybe some food.

Got my American Racing Headers from Nick at AR. Two techs from his company took less than three hours to install. Cost to install was $300. I was so happy with the whole deal I tipped the two installers.

Milwaukee to St Louis in 5.5 hrs?

Look out, he might ask you to cover his speeding tickets too.

$300-400 is the norm.

From everything I've seen, American Racing are the absolute easiest to install. Comes as a complete system with x-pipe. Not a single installation issue, no wiring extension needed.

That's why as mentioned above, the ARH installs only took 3hrs (yes I know factory trained experts) while other installs can take much longer and have some tweaking/fit issues.

Wouldn't pay more than 300 for install. But what a generous offer from Rickyh93, another reason this forum has the best people in the world.

I appreciate the offers. Will take them into consideration when headers are purchased.
