How bad could it be - I've made to Atlanta in 10.5hrs. I was going by Yahoo maps estimate of 5.5 hrs although someone told be it is more around 7 - still willing to do it - I enjoy driving.
If you want to try it yourself I will seriously come down and help. No charge. Heck I can even bring beer I get Miller products free or very cheap.
I've been waiting on some friends to decide if we are buying a shop before winter and they can't make up their mind - so I can't spend anymore money on my car until I know what we're doing and since I live in an apartment I have nothing to do.
I'm heading back down to GA sometime next month to see my daughter and probably get my transmission rebuilt at RPM and maybe some gears (since it is on the way) - stopping down in birmingham and deliver a fish tank for a friend from some place in Chicago - head over to Atlanta and install a stand alone computer (AEM I think) into my friends EVO. If everything works out I should have enough time to pick up a vette for my aunt and deliver it down to Tampa. That sounds like a lot of work now that I actually think about- oh well you only live once.
This offer is extended to anyone around and it could be to install anything.
theres a small shop in o'fallon illinois that does great work on all vettes. I had my borla quad tip stingers, vararam intake and cr5 lights installed for 300$. He only charges 40$ any hour when most shops ive looked into cost around 80-100
depends on labor rate for your neck of the woods, and how experienced the shop is. FWIW I paid $700 - wasn't happy about it but I paid it. Also different brands will install easier than others, costing less if they are just charging you for however long it takes...

I was just wondering how much it would cost to get headers installed. How many hours does it take (approx.)? What are the easiest headers to install? And also if there is anybody 100mi in/from the St. Louis area that could install headers at a "pretty" discount please let me know!
