Code problems Help!
Started my car today and my air bag light is staying on. Checked the codes out and I came up with 58 SDM B0022HC. I can't find it anywhere in the code list. Please anybody, the last thing I want to do is take it to a dealer.....

B0022 LF/Driver Front Deployment Loop(Single Stage or Stage 1) Resistance low
Not sure of the 58 but SDM is sensing and diagnostic module related to the B0022 or SIR system

System components related to code:
inflatable restraint steering wheel module.inflatable restraint steering wheel module
inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil
steering wheel module high and low circuits
SDM sensing and diagnostic module.
Can't tell you how to fix it,do your basic Clear codes, disconnect battery for a few, check of fuse #16 under passenger kick panel, but all these stated above components and there connection/connectors need to be checked according to the book .The steering wheel module coil,inflatable restraint steering wheel module connectors are behind the panel under the steering wheel column maybe it got knocked around when column lock bypass was installed. The SDM is located behind the A/C controls.
Sounds like one for the dealer
