please excuse my rookie question but im new to the whole forced induction game and could use some experienced advice.
i am thinking of installing sts twin turbo on a c5 zo6. what else do i need to, or would be smart to buy to prolong the life of my car. i know i need fuel injectors, fuel pump blow off valve boost controller but i dont know if i need to upgrade my clutch or tranny to handle that much hp. im looking at a 7-8psi tune which will put me around 550whp. i will also be installing 160 degree thermostat long tube headers xpipe cats and i have heard that the turbos actuall take the place of your mufflers so how does that work with exhaust. thanks

This IS NOT a put down but, you have a lot to learn about their system. Search this forum and contact STS, hey have a lot of fair info on their turbo packages!
Give me a shout tomorrow, www.gulfcoastperformance.com, and I'd be happy to answer some questions for you if you have them. I run the kit on my car as well.

Cajundude put mine on my wifes car couple months back. Works perfect on our stock A4 vert..see profile for pics. It's like being on a rollercoaster when you hit it. Plus you get to here that spooling sound and it is sooooo sweeeet.
It's not an STS setup, but my car has 540 rwhp via boost and I'm still on the stock clutch with 80K miles on it. No signs of slip yet, and I do plan on replacing it, but it might not be until next year.
i think i have learned what i need to know. sts it is. anyone in north carolina know a good tuner and a shop for the install? i know of zip up in virginia but i would rather stay close.
