Passenger window problem
Having problem with passenger window not coming down and making a clicking noise. The dealership said it is either the motor, regulator or at worst both. Said it could be $ 500.00 - 800.00. I would much rather spend that money on chrome for my motor . I saw that you can sometime hit the side of door and unfreeze motor but I'm not sure where you would hit it ?

Just fixed mine today. Hasnt worked in ages... since I got the car. Pop off the door panel (you might need new clips) and pull out the speaker as an assembly. Then hold the button and tap the back of the motor with a hammer (not TOO hard!). Did that a couple times then cycled the window up and down a dozen times. Works like a champ now.
After you get it working put it down and up once or twice a week to keep the brushes clean.
The clicking is probably the relay for the motor.
