I just installed 3:73's and I know one of these has to do with it since my check engine light comes during certain shifts. I've been keying in smaller tire sizes into my HPPIII to try to get my speedo close but it's not working. (I know, I need to get loaded) Anyway, I can't find a few of these codes on my lists, I have a 99' auto. I'm also having trouble with the drivers side door keypad(AGAIN). Here's the codes, I would appreciate any help:
10 PCM P 1870 H C
BORFA C 2105 H This is right front TPM sensor malfunction. What does TPM stand for?
Re: Help with a few codes, please... (ScreaminDemon)
p1870 is a common occurance when changing gears on an automatic tranmission. You change the pulses per mile, therefore, the PCM thinks that the tranmission converter clutch is slipping, and defaults to high line pressure.
You will need to reprogram your PCM for this mod.
