Lowering the C5...
I just bought my 99 C5 HT and would like to lower it some. I lowered my 93 Formula with different springs (Eibach) Is that how one would have to lower the C5? I'm not familar with the C5's 'tricks of the trade' so any help is appreciated.

Also do a search on lowering across all forums and you'll find countless posts on the subject. You can expect a drop of about 3/4" to 1" by just turning the bolts...no cutting required.

I've never got one since I lowered mine, but it's a good idea. I'm getting new tires in a couple weeks so I'm just going to do it then. If you switch to non-runflats, it's a good idea to have the alignment changed too. I'm planning to use the ZO6 camber and toe numbers when I put the new treads on. We'll see how that feels. *fingers crossed*
