Help.. question about grinding noise in reverse
I have an 04 coupe six speed with 13k. I have had it for 4 months or so. Recently when i put it in reverse it makes grinding sound. Its NOT when i let the clutch out its with the clutch fully depressed and it grinds AS i push the stick into reverse. once its in reverse and i start letting the clutch out its fine. From the day i got it it was hard to get into reverse but would never grind with the clutch fully down. Every other gear seems to work fine. Even stranger i park my car in the garage. When i pull out it usually doesn't make that noise. But when i get out of my car to shut the door (no i don't have a garage door opener...
) then get back in and put her in reverse it makes that noise every single time lately. Its sort of a buzzing vibrating of the shifter for a split second as i am pushing the stick into reverse. Sorry for the long post but any suggestions or clues as to what this may be would be great. Thanks in advance.

Do you go into a forward gear first? Going into a forward gear
(I use 1st), will stop the intermediate shaft in the transaxle from
spinning, and should make it easier (and quieter) to get into
reverse.
