best mufflers?
I was rear-ended yesterday, and one of the things needing to be replaced is the left muffler & pipe. At a price of 1381.98 I am thinking this is the time to replace them both with a high-pro set. Which ones should I get?

I have the Corsa Pace cars...they are awesome. Totally quiet at cruising speeds but rowdy under acceleration. The real question to ask yourself is: how loud and what sound am i looking for. I listened to half a dozen catbacks before making my decision.

There is tons of info about that on the forum. You are going to find that everyone has there opinion as to which brand is better ie. Borla,Corsa,B&B,
Magnaflow Basani. Do a search on forum also here is a link to B&B to get an idea of what they have and sound like.

asking this question is like walking into a snake pit.
If you want a new exhaust,go for a system that has a tone you want.You won't gain much changing your exhaust anyway and there really is no "better muffler" setup than another.

wow....go with corsa pace car. I have heard complaints about ever other single catback but that one. and people always wanna trade for it. Go with that man

I just installed GHL bullets last night. Very nice muscular sound. Not overly loud. I definitely made the right choice. There is some drone, but you have to be listening for it to hear it. There was also drone on the stock system.

Borlas have a better idle, but I wanted quiet on the freeway. Both have an awesome sound on the throttle.
I have the pace car tiger shark.
