I also received a quote for the following mods.. can some of you fellow vette owners tell me how their prices compare to what you have experienced? including labor rates? I broke eveything down below

I believe you can get the Corsa exhaust for about $800+. Headers are around that price too. For $1350, the headers must be the Belangers or some other custom headers. $1k to install is kind of expensive, probably should be around $600-700, but then again it depends on the shop.

It seems pricy to me. I'm willing to bet you could do better. Also the only things that you might not be able to do yourself are the headers and x-pipe.
The rest if the things are easily installed with some patience.

Good luck!

$1,000 to install an exhaust in a C-5 is alittle pricey..its a 6 to $700 job..

The headers are pretty easy to get to on a C-5.. Getting the passenger side one on is a little pain but not that big of a deal.. All the bolts are pretty easy to get a ratchet on.. good luck.. :seeya

So what vendor would you recommend to purchace these Items through?

no one commented on the vortex equip, so I assume it is a 'fair' price.

Thanks again

I'll let you do the math and decide for yourself on price comparisons. All prices are quoted from the Corvetteforum Mall vendors.

Vortex ram Air w/poweduct- $459
Corsa w/pro tips- $875
Corsa x-pipe- $225
TPIS Long Tube Headers- $849

These items may not be EXACTLY the same ones you were quoted on, but it'll give you a general idea on how much the stuff is. Also keep in mind that these forum vendors may be out of your state so you can also save $$ on the taxes :smash: Compare prices and enjoy the big :D you will have when the mods are on!

I agree with what other forum members have said. Your installation prices seem high. I paid $350 to get my TPIS headers installed and around $50-60 for the exhaust.
