Seems like every place lists a different number. I've seen as low as 4.7 and as high as 5.3. Suffice to say, you'll be somewhere in between those numbers, it all really depends on how well you launch it.
What do you have for drive line components MN6 or A4 with 3.15 or 2.73, that can make some difference. The driver also affects the results, if you havent done it already consider replacing the airfilter (no warranty issues) and a lot of cheap horsepower. :smash:
Also enjoy the reality that there are few cars on the road that will outperform your new toy. :yesnod:
Well this is a perplexing question becuase if you look at those biased foreign mags the times are slow, If you look at the C&D, R&T, or MT mags they all say different. I look for automatic times since that is what I have with 3:15 gears. The quickest I have seen is 4.9 and 13.3 times. With and A4 3:15 gears 01 convertible. The times are faster for the Stick I am sure. But every stick I have faces so far 3000 GT, Porche Carrera, Z28 SS, Supra Turbos, Mustangs, and even those ricers in hondas I have destroyed in starts and rolls so you be the judge. I know this much for sure most stick guys dont deflat there tires, Ride out there luanch, or powershift so chances are your gonna win with a single stomp of the gas.
According to Car & Driver, a 2001 vert (6-speed) did 0-60 in 4.5 seconds.
By comparison, a 2001 Z06 does it in 4.3 seconds and a 2002 Z06 in 4.0 seconds.
A brand new M3 coupe's time is 4.7 seconds, but the M-Roadster matches the C5 vert at 4.5 seconds.
