Okay guys , I have a 2002 Z06 with Borla Stingers and I am thinking about putting on my Vararam intake and would like to know about where the power would be. Any takers?

Congratulations on the new ride! I would guess at around 360rwhp. The Stingers probably add 1-3rwhp over the Ti exhaust and the Vararam will only help so much while sitting still on a dyno. Post pics! B

Purchase an exhaust for sound improvement, they don't improve the flow that much especially over the Ti system. The VARARAM wont offer you much over K&N or black wing on the dyno stand due to it pulling static cool air. You will see more gains over other systems zipping down the road. Thats where it stands out! Its hard to say how much. Some say around 10-12.

I have a Vararam, and I love it. I think that either the Vararam, or the Calloway Honker are the two top units to draw COLD AIR into the engine. All the units which have the air filter INSIDE the engine compartment only draw hot air into the engine. Yes, they are easier to install, and cheaper, but the gains are greater with COLD AIR.

The Borla's are here to stay. I love the sound of them. I already have the Vararam so it will probably go on. I will post some pics soon.

I don't think he was recommending you purchase a different exhaust system.

Rather he was pointing out that People generally buy them for a Sound Change only - the HP increase (if any...) is a secondary benefit...
