windshield fliud sensor

My windshield wiper fliud sensor just went on me! It says its empty when it is clearly full of fluid. When I replace the sensor do I have to drain the fluid first? Also where can i get teh sensor beside going thru GM? I tried allied auto and they dont have it.

Before you change it, the sensor, turn it 180 degrees. There's an up or down way to position it. I had mine in reversed after taking off my tank and got the code. Can't remember which way it was. Found info on the Forum, do a search.
