P0410

Check engine light on. DIC indicated P0410, which the code list identifies as Air System. Can anyone expound?:

go to the DIC and reset it. I would get it once in a while, must be a glitch/

In layman's term it relates to monitoring the secondary air injection system. The PCM will command a test during normal air operation by monitoring the HO2s under open loop. If that test fails it does another test under closed loop. When the test is initialized it dumps air in to the exhaust and the HO2s have to be a certain value within a certain amount of time along with the short term fuel trim.

Clear the codes, drive it, check again.
Intermittent codes can range from a bad relay/switch, low system air flow,restrictions in the air system
