I just bought a hypertech programmer from a forum member and when I tried to upload it to my vette, both of which are 2000 model (car and programmer) it is telling me that the calibration is incompatible? Anything I can do if NOT the original owner. Thanks guys.
Haven't done any reasearch on it, but I think that handhelds like hypertech and diablo you can only register up to one vehicle on it. Consider HP Tuners or EFI live.

Sound like it is for a different year car. Check the part # on Hypertechs web site to see which model you have and what year the car is for. Don't both calling them they are not friendly there unless you shelled out big$$ to them
Yeh, I have quickly found that out. It has been updated by the previous owner and I didnt know about it upon arrival. I have called hypertech and they wont do anything because Im not the original owner. The seller is giving me a hard time with a return, even though it will NOT work with my car. So I am at a loss of what to do.
I had same problem you are having. Hypertech upgraded their programmers and the new model (#30025) is compatible with 1999-2004models. The one I purchased off the forum was for a 2000 and Hypertech told me it was no longer comapatible with the program load I had in my 2000 C5. I was able to send my old one to Hypertech and they replaced it with the new model at a cost of about $250. The car definitely runs stronger with the Hypertech programming, but I doubt it is worth the $350 bucks it cost me.
