well my budget for the motor is between 4-6K but i didnt think it woud cost 2K to install/take out and all that good stuff. ive already got someone (speed south) doing the tune on whatever i give them. and the turbo kit will (sts) will be purchased after my car's engine is installed and ready to go. from thr list above i kinda liked the 403 for 4600$ (biult to hold boost of course. if i get this should i run stock heads? or can i even run stock heads? so out the door im trying to stay under 7K installed tuned and driving it. i also liked this enginehttp://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...id=684&catid=3gives me options at the bottom for parts, wich shoud i go with keeping in my i want to boost it. and agian, stock heads or no?

oh by the way, thanks for your help guys. seriously ive never been on a forum where people are really helpful and full of ideas all at the same time. this forum rocks!!!

If you discuss with the owner of MTI Racing, Reese *** he can give you many different options. Your number one goal must be driveability which is his speciality. MTI Racing is having a dyno day on Saturday October 27th. You could drive up and meet with Reese and discuss your wants and desires. A good tuner is your most important decision!

U do know he is in Birmmingham ,al Mti if i am not mistaken is in Houston ,Tx = 10hrs of drive time ,So if u go u must leave out a Day early if i want to get to Dyno Day by saturday Oct,27 or u could Pick up the phone I wouldnt Give my core away ,Thats me though , I would also Hold on to the motor that you are wanting to give away ,.I will come up To bham & Pick it up If u really wanna Give it away ,just let me know lol ,I would think its all gonna depend on How many Miles are on the Motor ,& if u can here it crank up & Run ,[vs buying 1 that u have never heard run ,will make people hold on to there money & not let go ]

sounds good to me. i think ive decided to go with texas speed for the motor.

ok here is the setup im thinking im going to go with. 402 aluminum block, callies Dragonslayer crankshaft (4.00"), callies 6.125" ls1 compstar rods, daimond
-15cc pistons set, arp main studs, and im going to just have someone work on the stock ls1 heads, port n polish with new valves n valve springs. as far as the cam goes and the intake manifold as of right now i have no idea. and definatly going with the 90mm TB. im looking for 9to1 compression and am going to run a boost controller with 3 boost settings. 6, 8, and 10 psi. speed south is doing the tuning for me. and planning on oil cooler and diff. cooler. anything else i need to add to the list?
