I got 120K out of my OEM clutch on current 2003 Z (modded motor). Always on the throttle hard but never abused the clutch. I had 125K on my 2001 Coupe and was still going strong (Stock engine). If you don't speed shift or pop the clutch @ high RPMs or do burnouts the OEM should last 200K.
I have just over 60k on mine and it's going to need replacement this winter...
I drive hard on the street, auto-x and attend lapping days.
51,000 miles of hard street driving and a few track days. I'm real close to the 400 RWHP mark and she is still going strong!
If you ride/slip the clutch a lot during launches to prevent wheel spin, it wont last but 15-20K, Its all in the technique that you use to get the car going.
Pulling 4500 rpm launches 4-5 times a day at the track and it wont last a racing season. An aggressive start while controlling wheel spin and a good release limits clutch slippage and wheel spin and will net you decent 1/8 -1/4 mile track times while limiting wear on the clutch and drive train.
The less it slips during your launch, the longer it will last!
I know this is a really old thread, but, since we're to the point now where our cars are really getting some age and miles on them I wanted to offer my experience.
I have a 2004 Z06 that is within a few hundred miles of hitting 200k and I'm still on the original clutch and it's working great.
I did have to replace my front main seal at about 190k miles and I'll be replacing my rear main in a couple of weeks. It's really leaking bad!
At that time I'll obviously replace the clutch as well!!
I've never had a clutch last this long on any vehicle that I've had and I'm in my late 60s.
Very happy Corvette owner for sure!!

Good to hear your car is still going strong at 200k. Is it stock? Any work needed to the engine? Any major repairs other than what you already stated?
