Default Passanger Side Headlight Not Aligned

Hello all.
I was recently fixing the driver side headlight gear (which went well until i noticed the car was leaking oil and the low oil level dic message went on) and when I test the headlights i noticed scratches on the passenger side headlight cover. The scratches were on the side of the cover which faces the rear of the car. When the passenger side headlight flips up, the rear of the cover gets very close to the hood. It only has a paper thin gap. When closed, the gap is bigger and normal looking, but not as big as the driver side. Also when closed, the cover is flush with the hood, so those 4 screws under the cover, I'm assuming, are set in the right spot. Does any1 have any ideas on why this is happening and how I can fix it?

here's an awesome post with pics that show how to adjust your headlamp door gaps:

Adjust these little by little. They will allow you to move the frame side to side and back and fourth:

Just take your time!
