Default Feedback on Flowmaster and/or Hooker catback?

Who is running either of these catbacks and how do you like them? When I get my car I am really looking to spend a small amount of money for a nice tone. My old 96 Z28 had a flowmaster catback and I really liked the way it sounded. Anyone have soundclips of either of these systems or any suggestions about them?

I have them, but I do not have any sound clips. They are the 80 series muffler, which is the quietest flowmaster.

They sound good. No drone on the highway. Not too loud, but big improvement over stock.

I have the 4 round tips.

How loud is it at WOT and is it more of a classic muscle car sound or exotic nascar type sound?

I have the Hooker cat back. At $365 from Autozone you will get a quality system with a reasonable sound increase. No drone and a nice rumble at idle. The closest thing I can relate it to is a nice Mustang sound. I know that doesn't sit well with LS1 owners but that's what I hear. Nothing tinny or busy, just a nice sound of power without being obnoxious or disturbing the peace. I'd recommend the Hooker.

WOT is nothing like B&B Bullets. I'd say the flowmaster is between stock and bulletts. Everyone who has listened to mine say it sounds good. I think the GHL sound better, but mine were half the cost. If I were to do again, I'd stick with flowmaster for the cost savings.
