I've always had a stiff one! I'm extreamly satisfied with the results. The shifts are positive yet it dosen't require too much effort to hit reverse, fifth and sixth. I wish I had done this a long time ago. I highly recommend this mod.

Gosh! When you take you hand off of the shifter when in neutral does it center itself (line up for a straight push into 3rd) or does it line up to the right (in the 5th/6th channel)?

I would not take the spring out!! Just get a lighter weight spring or cut off a couple of coils then stretch it back to the same length,this makes the spring weaker(this is what I did, works good) :yesnod:
