I was speaking to someone today and I was saying that alot of people are running afr heads and and he stated that ls6 heads are better just get them ported and polished. Anyone agree or disagree?
Two issues I see with this argument. First, the AFR's have the same port size and flow more, thus more velocity. Second, as you open up the stock heads you thin them out, that's OK but some have had issues with the rocker area breaking due to the higher spring loads coupled with the thinner sections. AFR's are a premium head. It all depends on your budget.

You might want to look at the Dart Pro1's. 225 intake runners out the box, fully assembled and handle 600 lift for $1600 from summit.
A tuner told me this... i dont want to bad mouth anyone, so i wont say who. But I asked him again just to make sure I heard correctly and he said the stock heads are better then afrs..so im a little lost

Well thanks for straightening that out...I called you yesterday( about a S/C kit of a H/C setup) and found you very helpful but just wanted to make sure what i heard was correct.
Hey Chris, Do you guys offer Ported/Polished heads ?
Yes we do.. there are quite a few options depending on your goals. We have used Trick Flow's, AFR,s ETP's as well as a few different GM castings with CNC ports. Best bet ia to give me a call and I will be happy to recommend a nice head depending on your application and budget..

I have a set of AFR's I want to get rid of. Practically brand new but I do not want to flycut so I need something else. Maybe some Ported LS6 and a fast 90/90? Who knows, I will definantly give you a call when I get these things sold.
