Power lock problems

Power lock problems
My driver side door does not work when I lock it, it just clicks but never actually pulls the lever to the lock position leaving it unlocked. Is this fault of the motor or is something not connected? anybody have a problem similar to this?

my guess is that the relay on the door control module is causing you problems - I know you can replace just the unlock relay module, but I'm not sure you can replace the LOCK relay -
BTW, the relay I'm referring to is NOT available from GM - you have to get it from Digikey or someplace like that - you can ONLY get the entire circuit board from GM - did I mention $$$?
