LS2 oil pump

I know it will work on a LS1 but is it the same as a LS6 pump? Is it at least better then my oolder style LS1 pump?

can't speak directly about a stock LS2 but I've gat a ported LS2 and it made a big difference in oil pressure.

I dont want to have a ported one cause I dont want higher oil pressure, I have 38 psi @ idle and 58 @ 6k rpm, I think thats perfect. How high is yours?

Porting doesn't raise pressure....changing the spring does.
