Default raising my vert

I am going to raise my 2000 vert up from being lowered all the way on stock bolts so i can install zo6 shocks and sway bars, is there any problems i will run into while doing this?I also plan to replace the tires aand have it aligned after the upgrades are installed,thanks for any insight you can give

Should not be any issues with your plans. Just make sure you have a spare hydraulic jack to place under each end of the bow spring to relieve spring tension or you will never be able to turns the tension adjuster nuts. You will want to use tape or a marker to measure the bolt length at each end of the spring to get the car level. Also, I would work one of the car first and then go to the other end. You do not need an alignment because of the work but you may want to get one if it has been a long time, harsh roads, that sort of thing.

will i need to replace the bushings since i cut them in 2 when i lowered it?

Possibly. Depends on the ride height you are trying to achieve. Remember, the bow spring allows the ride height to be adjusted by the amount of tension you place on the spring by the adjuster bolts. You should be able to compensate for the 1/2" or so of plastic you cut out of the adjuster base simply by leaving more bolt in the bottom of the spring (between spring and control arm). The lower the ride height the less of the bolt that sticks up through the spring.
