ATTN: A C5 Tech!

I have a P1416 AIR System Bank 2 error code and it reapears after reset...any ideas on possible cause & fix? Seems to run fine & is consistant at the strip, but still want to correct it.

According to themanual, there is probably a blockage in your AIR system, keeping the emmisions pump from pumping fresh air into one side of your exhaust system. You should probably check to see if air is being pumped into the exhaust manifolds by pulling the hoses loose while the vehicle is idling in closed loop mode. If you can verify that you are inded getting fresh air on both sides, then it could be an O2 sensor problem.

Basically, the car should run leaner with the AIR pump on than when it is off, and that is not happening on one side (not sure which one).
