Creaking Steering Wheel/Steering Column
When I turn my steering wheel slowly, as pulling in the garage, I hear a pronounced creaky noice coming from the steering column. I own a 99 vert. Any ideas on how to find and lubricate the squeak?

I found that annoying tool. While I was spraying most of the rubber areas around the windows and top with silicone, I did around the steering wheel space by the column. This seems to work well.

Sorry to dredge up an old thread, but does anybody have a better picture of what is being sprayed with Lithium grease in this tech tip?
A bit hard to see on the grainy black and white picture. Is it in the floorboard, or in the engine compartment?
