Default B&M Shifter question

I'm thinking about picking up the new B&M shifter, but I want the hurst shift ball. I'm almost sure it will fit, but does anyone know for sure? Thanks!

The oem C5/Z06 and most of the after market shifters are threaded 9/16-18. This includes the B&M, HURST, KIRBAN, BPP, MTI, CALLAWAY, and others.
The HURST **** (try SUMMIT RACING) is available in that same thread, in white or black. I have that HURST **** on a B&M "Sport" shifter.

Great. Is the sport shifter the new one from B&M? How do you like it?

Seems to me that the "Q" ball style would get slippery with sweat. Anyone?

The "Sport" version from B&M is their latest offering. It is rubber isolated like the oem shifter, but has a higher pivot point, so the shifting are somewhat stiffer, but shorter.
...and no, I don't find the HURST **** slippery at all...and I'm in hot, dry, sweaty AZ.

Because it's set up like the stock shifter is the throw longer then the previous model (straight piece of billet)?

I have no experience with the "Ripper". I would imagine the shifts are the same since the billet base appears to be shared between the "Ripper" and the "Sport". The only difference may be that the "Sport" has a stub on which the rubber isolated upper portion of the lever is connected.

I have the newer B&M with a Hurst black "8 Ball" ****. I love both to death! The shifter is firm, precise and short throw, at least compared to stock. I really like how the **** fits my hand, and neither it nor the shifter rattle! It did very slightly when new, but that seems to have gone away completely.

I highly recommend both!
